Movement & elderly
Movement & Elderly are weekly sessions where we focus on moving freely with your own capabilities. It starts with a holistic warming up, continues with different tasks of improvisation and composition to feed your own creativity. After 50 minutes the whole group takes a break for a short snack and chat.
In the last part of the session we complete with a groups dance, partner/groups composition task and cooling down. Every dancer is free to participate under his or her individual conditions and capabilities, including individual pauses. Also with body disturbance or injuries we handle to dance and to move regardfully.
It’s about enjoying dance, music and different movement qualities individually, with a partner or with the whole group. The sessions will open the awareness of your own body, the space around and the flow of movement.
